This is where everything placed on the board becomes permanent. The reflow machine carries each board through nine controlled temperature zones — gradually heating, melting the solder paste, then cooling it down — so every component bonds securely to the board in one continuous pass.
On the Floor, Every Day
Boards move through this machine constantly as part of our daily line, each one following the same carefully controlled heating profile. Getting the temperature curve right across all nine zones is what turns a board full of loosely placed components into a finished, reliable assembly.
Why It Matters
- Creates strong, consistent solder joints across every board
- Multiple zones allow precise control over heating and cooling stages
- Reduces thermal stress on components compared to less controlled methods
- Ensures reliability of the finished board before it moves to inspection
“Nine zones means nine chances to get it right — and zero room to get it wrong.”
