Tarasvat wasn’t started with a business plan or investors — it started with one person willing to learn the hard way, one loom at a time.

How It Began
A Foundation Built on Experience
Before Tarasvat was founded in 2014, our founder spent several years gaining hands-on technical experience in electronic jacquard systems — working closely with textile manufacturers to understand the machines, the challenges, and what the industry actually needed. That experience became the foundation Tarasvat was built on.
Tarasvat Is Founded
Launched with a keypad-based electronic jacquard controller featuring memory-card storage, soon followed by an LCD version of the same system. Reliable on-ground installation, prompt on-call and on-site service, and consistent product quality from day one earned the trust that got Tarasvat started.
Making Machines Easier to Maintain
Replaced the memory card with a pendrive-based solution, making it simple for customers to manage and update jacquard patterns themselves. Around this period, also began offering spare parts, add-on services, and jacquard systems customized to each customer’s specific requirements.
Reaching Beyond Home Ground
Around 2017–18, began supplying customers outside our home city and state for the first time. That same period marked our first industry exhibitions — starting in Surat in 2018 and continuing across Mumbai and Delhi through 2019 and 2020.
Into New Markets, At Home and Abroad
From 2021, expanded into South India, then took the company overseas for the first time — supplying to Bangladesh around the same period, and exhibiting in China twice, in 2023 and 2024.
Smarter Controls
Over the past two to three years, developed dual-file support across both keypad and touchscreen HMI interfaces, giving customers more flexibility in how they operate their machines.
Bringing Manufacturing In-House
This year marked a major step forward: bringing machine-part manufacturing fully in-house, a capability now running across seven of our own machines and extending to custom part-making orders for outside customers. Today, Tarasvat is a team of 30+ professionals serving textile manufacturers across India with a complete range of electronic jacquard and dobby solutions.

From Hands-On Experience to a Full Production Floor
What began with deep technical expertise in jacquard systems has grown into an 11+ year old company with its own in-house, fully automatic production facility and a team of 30+ skilled professionals. Every product we build is manufactured under strict quality standards and undergoes rigorous testing to ensure reliable performance, durability, and customer satisfaction.
