Inside Our Production Line: The Fully Automatic Pick and Place Machine

Fully Automatic Pick and Place Machine in operation at Tarasvat

Right after the stencil printer, this is where a board actually starts looking like a finished product. The pick and place machine lifts components — from the tiniest passives to larger ICs — and sets each one precisely onto the solder paste pattern, board after board, at a pace no manual process could match.

On the Floor, Every Day

This machine runs as one of the busiest stations on our line, placing components continuously through the day’s production. Speed matters here, but so does precision — a component even slightly off-position can cause problems further down the line.

Why It Matters

  • Places components with high accuracy across a wide range of sizes
  • Keeps pace with our daily production volume without manual bottlenecks
  • Reduces placement errors that would otherwise surface during inspection
  • Enables consistent, repeatable board assembly at scale
“Every board that leaves this station is placed exactly the same way as the one before it — that consistency is the whole point.”
