At Tarasvat, building reliable electronic jacquard and dobby systems is only half the responsibility we carry — the other half is how we build them. This year, we installed a 35 kilowatt solar power system at our facility, and it now supplies a meaningful share of the electricity that runs both our production floor and our office spaces.
Why We Invested in Solar
Every unit of power we draw from the sun is a unit we don’t draw from the grid, and a smaller draw from the grid ultimately means less fossil fuel burned to keep our machines running. For a manufacturer like us — with assembly lines, testing equipment, and office systems running for hours every day — that adds up to a real reduction in our environmental footprint over the course of a year.

The same system feeds both the shop floor and the office, so this commitment shows up everywhere our team works, not just where the machines run. As we grow, we’re looking at whether our current 35kW capacity can be expanded further.
