Not every component can be placed and reflowed — connectors, larger terminals, and other through-hole parts need a different approach. The wave solder machine passes each board over a controlled wave of molten solder, bonding these components in one precise pass that pick and place and reflow can’t handle on their own.
On the Floor, Every Day
This is one of the final steps before a board is ready to leave the line, run daily on every board that carries through-hole components. Precise wave height and timing keep every joint clean and consistent, board after board.
